Most signs live or die on the lettering

A large share of what people sell off a CNC is words. Names, house numbers, bar signs, wedding boards. The font is most of the design, so having 300 of them rather than a dozen changes what you can take on.

Text effects sit on top of the font. Arch the text, fit it to a curve, space it out along a path. Italic styling works on every font including ones you import yourself, and bold styling is available on select fonts.

If a customer hands you a brand and expects their exact typeface, you can upload it and use it like any other font in the list. Pair it with V-carving and the letterforms come out with sharp corners rather than rounded ones.
