flat pack stool

Using 1/2 (.47") inch plywood, this is an 18" stool to cut quickly.

I used a 1/8" roundover bit on the tabs to make the fit work; you could just sand them round. I didn't want the dogbone look.

They friction fit decently but could be glued.
