Hi Zach. Thanks for the reply, all very exciting, specifically as this is all new to me, at 71 in retirement here in Australia, but used your design as to get familiar with the machine, and software, and found the best result in a one (1) mm depth, as with your design, the colors will stand out, whatever the depth. I also put a GOOD LUCK sign in dark hardwood/Jarred and gold letters underneath, and many Asian people in town love the design and as for your specific question, with 3 years living in China once, I like most Chinese/Asian designs. Also, my e-mail is rkalsbeek@hotmail.com, in case I miss you again. Thanks again, please stay in touch, Robbie.
I love the design! How did you get the red color in the routed lines ? I'm very new at the CNC game. I have done a few small boxes and used a syringe with diluted paint to fill in the lines. Once dry I will coat with Polyurethane or Varnish. There has to be an easier way. Thanks in advance !

Looks great! How'd you make the dragon?

I found the dragon in the Easel Design Library.

Just finished copying this DRAGON design and run it on a 1 (ONE) mm millimeter depth, and with a flat base, the best result, love it!!! Robbie.

Thanks Robbie! Are there other designs you’d like me to make for you to carve?

What will look the best is epoxy resin. You can also use a paint mask and paint it, peel the mask off, and then do a clear coat.
